Question 1

What exactly is Little Atlas Co.?

Accepted Answer

We create hands-on family cultural adventures in the Richmond, Virginia area. Each pop-up event takes families on a journey through a new part of the world using food, crafts, music, stories, and play — starting with our Christmas Around the World experience.

Question 2

Is this a drop-off program?

Accepted Answer

No. Little Atlas is a shared family adventure. Grown-ups explore right alongside their kids — it isn't a daycare, classroom, or drop-off program.

Question 3

What ages is it designed for?

Accepted Answer

Children 3–12, with activities that flex up and down. Younger siblings and grandparents are always welcome.

Question 4

When and where is Christmas Around the World?

Question 5

How much do tickets cost?

Question 6

What is your ticket refund / cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations need to be made 48 hours before the event. We will issue a full refund. In the event of extremely bad weather, we will make a determination 24 hours before the event whether we will cancel or reschedule. If the event is being rescheduled, no refunds will be issued. To request a cancellation, email support@littleatlasco.com.

Question 7

How long does an adventure take?

Accepted Answer

Each session runs about one hour. Stations are designed so families can move at their own pace rather than follow a strict schedule.

Question 8

What is the Little Atlas Passport?

Accepted Answer

Every child receives a Little Atlas Passport at check-in and collects a stamp at each destination station. Bring the same passport back to future events to grow your collection.

Question 9

Is food included, and what about allergies?

Accepted Answer

Each country station offers a small kid-friendly taste, not a full meal. Ingredient information will be posted at every station, and tastes are always optional.

Question 10

How do you approach cultural representation?

Accepted Answer

Respectfully and carefully. We focus on everyday traditions, food, music, and stories; work with community partners; and avoid stereotypes and sacred or ceremonial dress.

Question 11

Can schools, libraries, churches, scouts, or PTAs work with you?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We'd love to hear from you — send a note through the partner and sponsor form and we'll follow up personally.
